Biography
Karl is a school principal and father of five children, including three sons, drafted and signed by NHL teams. His two eldest daughters are teachers in the TDSB.
Karl has learned to inspire people through coaching, parenting, teaching and leading over his thirty-three years working in schools.
“Your greatest gift is your potential,” he often says, “and your greatest gift to the world is the development and sharing of that potential.”
Karl’s memoir, How We Did It, written with Scott Colby, was an immediate bestseller. His debut picture book, Skates In A Box, will be published by Harper Collins Canada.
