Biography

Kristyn Ferguson is the Program Director of Large Landscapes in Ontario at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, where she has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Kristyn obtained her B.Sc. in environmental biology from the University of Guelph and an MES in restoration ecology from the University of Waterloo. At work, Kristyn is passionate about finding creative ways to protect land, working with a variety of partners across sectors, and finding “win-win” solutions for nature and people. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, birding, and stand-up paddleboarding. She lives in Guelph with her husband, Jeff, and their rescue dog, Bailey.
