Our Committees and Workgroups
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: The WKG has an internal focus on fostering inclusivity within our organization, particularly through the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts. Externally, our DEI WKG actively seeks opportunities to raise awareness and lead diverse initiatives in our community, benefiting marginalized individuals.
Veterans: The Veterans Working Group (WKG) is dedicated to spearheading initiatives aimed at providing essential support to veterans facing challenges in areas such as housing, mental well-being, and overcoming addiction.
Mental Health & Wellness:
The Mental Health and Wellness Working Group (WKG) collaborates with diverse demographic segments to champion and bolster programmatic support.
Seniors: Seniors initiatives in our Club have a long history and continually to receive significant support.
Environment: The scope of projects spans from engaging in weekend clean-up activities in natural settings to providing financial support for community gardens, educational programs, and a myriad of other endeavors.
Indigenous Partnership:
Developed in partnership with indigenous leaders, our IP WKG works across Ontario to provide opportunities in urban and rural indigenous communities.
Scholarship Project Team: This dedicated group provides an annual scholarship for an outstanding youth pursuing post secondary education and a strong alignment to community impact.
